 PADI Open Water Diver Course
The open water diver, one of the most sought after certifications in the world. This course is designed to give the diver the knowledge and skills that are required to dive safety. The open water diver course consists of five videos and knowledge reviews designed to teach the student what it takes to ensure safe diving for years to come. Confined water dives consists of shallow water skills conducted with an instructor to teach the diver the correct responses in case some problems occur underwater. The open water dives for this course are conducted in the "Real world" I.E. The open water of the ocean. Four open water dives are conducted for the course where the diver practices the skills learned in confined water sessions with incredible creatures of the underwater kingdom. Upon completion of the open water diver program certification allows the "New diver" to dive to 18 meters without the need of certified instructor present. All you need is another qualified "Buddy". The open water course offered also includes an extra "Fun dive" with a group and divemaster where you get to show off and practice your newfound skills.
Pre-Requisites:You need to be comfortable in the water and have some basic swimming skills. The minimum ages for scuba certification are 12 for the Junior Open Water Diver or Junior Scuba Diver certification (adult supervised diving), and 15 for the Open Water Diver or Scuba Diver certification.
Prior to undertaking you PADI Open Water diver course you are required to obtain an approved Scuba Diving Medical Certificate.
Course Detail : Siam Adventures conduct the PADI Open Water Diver course on request, over four days focusing on gaining your Open Water diver certificate whilst learning in a fun and relaxed environment. The PADI Open Water Diver course consists of three segments: confined water dives, knowledge development, and open water dives.
Course Price Include:PADI Open Water Manual, Certification & Instructor fees,pool session, 4 boat dives as well as the use of most equipment and all air fills for the duration of the course. We can also organise accommodation at Khao Lak during your course if required.
Option1-Course can be conducted in classroom, pool and open-water. Via day trips over a period of four days.
Option2-In the Similan island with classroom sessions conducted on board our day boat (Materials provided) all confined sessions conducted in shallow, confined water of the Similan islands. Study on the beach and then dive in one of the top ten dive sites of the world. Stay on pristine islands with incredible wildlife and beautiful sunrises to begin your day with stunning sunsets to complete your memories. Course conducted over three or four days.
